Turkish cuisine has been perfecting baked goods for thousands of years.  At Cappadocia Bistro experience flatbreads on a whole new level with mouth watering recipes from throughout Turkish history. In addition to these delectable flatbreads, Cappadocia Bistro offers a wide variety of Turkish street foods as well as the most jaw droppingly beautiful and delicious hand crafted cakes and sweets. And you don't want to miss the popular Turkish street food, Kumpir!

Lahmacun is a middle eastern thin bread topped with a mix of minced meat and minced veggies.  The word lahmacun is a contraction of the Arabic phrase lahm bi ajeen, which means "meat with bread."  This flatbread dish originated in the middle east and is popular in Turkey, Armenia, Lebanon, Kurdistan, and Syria.  It is often topped with greens, parsley, onion, a squeeze of lemon juice, then rolled and eaten like a wrap.

Our Pide is expertly prepared using ancient techniques and is cooked the authentic way - in our wood fired oven.

Bafra Pide is a closed pide stuffed with a variety of ingredients like kahvurma, wild mushrooms, pastirma and more.  A true, mouth-watering delicacy!

We are thrilled to introduce Kumpir to Vermont for the very first time!  One of our favorite places to visit in Istanbul is Ortakoy.  Famous for having booth after booth, all serving the delicious street food, Kumpir.  A deliciously baked potato, first whipped with butter and cheese and then loaded to your liking.  Each booth displays a variety of delicious toppings, vibrant in their colors and exploding with flavor!
